A wedding at the Nacarum restaurant under the shade of the palm trees in Cadiz

Celebrating a wedding in Cadiz enables you to explore a historic part of the world, full of tradition charming culture, where the amazing native cuisine will convert you into a true lover of its spectacular flavours and aromas.

This experienced is heightened at the Nacarum restaurant! An exclusive venue chosen by one of our couples who were desperate to get married by the sea.

This restaurant transported them to the flavours of the 16th century, as they found themselves in an old almadraba tuna factory, where even today people flock to taste their produce. The factory was restored and converted into a restaurant that offers the incredible flavours that our bride and groom were dreaming of.

Saying ‘I do’ on the beach!

The couple were certain that they wanted a venue that allowed them to get married on the beach. This is why they were instantly taken with the Nacarum! It’s a beautiful venue surrounded by sea views for both the ceremony and the banquet.

Who wouldn’t want a wedding at sunset? This venue is spectacular, both for living in the moment and for making incredible memories. The bride walked down the aisle on a long wooden boardwalk on the beach up to the altar, which was covered in large leaves from the palm trees. This really added to the sea-side theme!

Food from Cadiz in an enchanting setting

At the banquet, which the fiancés had the opportunity to sample prior to the event, they enjoyed the Nacarum restaurant’s famous dishes such as rice with shrimps, red meats, wood-fire oven almadraba tuna, etc.

There is a large variety of exquisite dishes prepared using fresh and local produce. They mix tradition with modernity, as well as freshness, to serve the best dishes of the south!

Our couple chose to hold their banquet outdoors, with food served on wooden tables in gold crockery that matched the scenic surroundings. This was accompanied by glasses with gold motifs, a large jar and blue place mats, which all matched the flowerpots, doors, windows and boats, that resembled the beautiful Cadiz oceans.

Very unconventional floral decorations

The florists Cotton Candy were in charge of adding a totally unique touch to the decorations, through the bouquet and table centrepieces made up of reeds, thin palm tree leaves like those at the altar, and tiny gypsophila flowers, a stunning combination of white and light brown colours.

The florists got thinks just right, thanks to their incredible skill and the fact that they put their hearts and souls into every creation. As a consequence, they were able to translate the bride and groom’s emotions into the form of flowers and leaves.

Bohemian newlyweds among the waves and wood

The bride was dressed by Lobaton Novias, specialists in dressmaking and high fashion wedding design. Together with the bride, they chose an outfit made from fabrics and sewing skills that made her stand out on her wedding day.

They made a perfect choice, with a V-neck dress that had mesh and lace at the waist and hips, with a flowy crepe skirt with frayed edges to create the perfect silhouette. The dress had a slight train and an open back. It was a very fresh and bohemian design, perfect for a beach wedding!

The makeup look was applied and designed by Roa, a professional wedding makeup artist from Cadiz. It consisted of a brown smoky eye with black eyeliner, accompanied by a light contour and nude lips.

The hairstylist was another professional, Tonia, who made the bride feel comfortable and confident throughout the process. The bride looked stunning with a low ponytail with a side parting and light waves.

Equally, the groom stood out for his elegant and simple navy-blue suit, which matched his white shirt and aquamarine tie with small polka dots. But what really made a big difference were his brown shoes, that were comfortable as well as elegant!

This spectacular day couldn’t have taken place without an incredible team behind it. The photographers, Antonio and Ricardo, captured a spectacular array of colours, contrasts and lighting in order to perfectly depict the love in the air at this gorgeous sunset.
