The most important goal of a wedding is that the guests feel comfortable and happy during the whole celebration, feeling part of the couple’s happiness.

Lots of couples prefer to give to their guests something extra, that isn’t only a simple gift, but that will remind them of this special day. There are infinite possibilities and, for this reason, it’s not easy to choose a nice gift that best represents you, so we want to give you some ideas for your wedding gifts. Don’t forget to take notes!

Accessories

A gift idea could be to give fashion accessories, for example a shawl that they can use during the wedding if it gets chilly, or ballerina shoes or flat shoes, so they can enjoy the dance all night, without suffering in high heels. Furthermore, they can use these presents on other occasions. We suggest that you offer different colours and models, giving your guests the opportunity to choose.

Plants

A new trend is to give your guests a plant. We mean potted plants that are more weather resistant, for example succulent plants and cacti.

If you prefer, another nice idea could be to give small bags with fragrant flowers, that can be used for perfuming closets. Furthermore, you can personalize the bags with names and the wedding date.

Traditional food and beverage

What do you think about your country’s traditional dessert or drink as wedding gifts? It’s a perfect and very personal present because it refers to yourself and your origin.

For example, you can give sweets in small bags that they can keep as souvenir, artisanal coffee, a nice typical liquor bottle, a jar of honey, oil, marmalade, etc..

Our bride and groom, Richard y Anastasia, gave their guests this beautiful bottle of oil with their names and the wedding date.

Beauty

Beauty accessories could be a good idea, and you can choose between different options: a lip balm with a special box, pocket mirrors, hand cream, or scented soap too. The most important thing is that the packaging is pretty and that it refers to your wedding.

Decorations

Now let’s talk about the most durable gifts, the decorative accessories. It’s essential to think about something that everyone can appreciate and is nicely presented. Candles are a perfect option and you can choose between different sizes, shapes and containers.

Your guests will love your idea and treasure it.

You can also gift the wedding glasses or cups in which the coffee will be served during the wedding, that you can personalize with your names and wedding date.

Personal presents

If you are looking for a present that could be very personal, an idea is to give your photo with an inscription for each guest. You only have to prepare the photo that you like the most and write a meaningful message.

Our bride and groom Anita and Alexey decided to give this nice box to their guests with their wedding logo and some postcards of Tenerife, where their wedding took place. It was a pretty touch.

After several years specialising in wedding and events planning, at Weddings and Events by Natalia Ortiz we know that, in addition to the ability and the extensive knowledge necessary in order to be able to work in this profession, there is something more important to success: the experience. For this reason, we want to show some of our beautiful weddings and all the experiences that give us the opportunity to develop in the field of weddings and events planning.

We have given our best effort in these challenges, and we always had the peace of our customers at the centre of our mission as well as solving all the problems that we have encountered.

Anita and Alexey’s wedding at the beach

Anita and Alexey’s wedding was a colourful event filled with happiness. You only have to see how wonderful their smiles were during the whole day to understand how special it was.

We organised the wedding 6 months before the date. All the decorations had to be in harmony with the amazing Tenerife view where the wadding took place. There was a strong wind that day, and the waves were so high that they reached the wedding venue. However, we thought of a solution in just a few minutes: to set up the celebration on the viewpoint of the hotel. So we found a resolution to the wind problem without losing the amazing view. As a result we had a couple that couldn’t be happier.

Kaci and Dave’s wedding on the mountains

Kaci and Dave married in the Natural Picos de Europa Park in Asturias, a wonderful place in which the green space all around was the main feature. Just as the venue on top of the highest mountain peak was ready for the celebration, the weather changed. The clouds turned the green view into a grey atmosphere, that wasn’t perfect for the pictures. So we decided to make use of the clouds to create a romantic atmosphere using some candles placed around the venue. As a result, we had romantic and bright pictures thanks to the candlelight and the white clouds.

Olga and Denis’ wedding

During Olga and Denis’ wedding preparations, the future wife received the most important news ever: she was pregnant !The problem was that the wedding dress order was already confirmed some time ago and it had been sent from a far distance. Furthermore, Olga couldn’t try it on, because she was on a business trip in Thailand.

Without the possibility of altering the dress, we started to look for a new one, and in the end, we found two! Olga looked very elegant and brilliant, and to feel comfortable during the dance, she wore another dress. This is what we always suggest to our brides, because if they do they can dance all the night without problems. The most important is…to enjoy yourselves!

Teresa and Ernest’s wedding in Madrid

Teresa and Ernest decided to get married in a Church, so they needed all the required documents. The documents arrived only one month before the wedding day, even though we completed all the procedures in advance. Without the papers required, we couldn’t choose the wedding date and we couldn’t reserve the wedding location, so we planned the event in just one month. Unbelievably, it was possible and it also was a wonderful event, as the pictures show.

These are only some of our experiences that we wanted to share with you, and that helped us to improve in the weddings and events planning world, without losing our most important goal: ensuring the tranquility of our clients.

Wedding in Madrid – Teresa y Ernest

Teresa and Ernest celebrated their wedding in Madrid last February. It was a very romantic and emotional wedding, in which the couple was surrounded by all their loved ones who came from the USA and Mexico to accompany the couple on this special day.

The bride got ready in a hotel in the centre of the city, with a smile on her face. She wore a beautiful heart-shaped dress with transparent sleeves and she looked stunning. She wore a very natural hairstyle and for makeup she had black eyes and pink lips. The jewel shoes in nude and the red nails were the perfect touches of color. The bouquet was a delicate one with white flowers.

Ernest was waiting at the altar with a dark suit and bow tie, very elegant and excited, and the ceremony could not have been more emotional. The banks were adorned with pretty white bouquets that gave light to this cozy Church.

At the banquet all the guests could sit at the same table, where they could enjoy together this unforgettable day. A beautiful detail was waiting for them at the table: a precious silver spoon. Look how lovely this wedding in Madrid was.

Wedding in Salou – Ekaterina y Alexandr

Let us show you one of the most spectacular landscapes in Spain, where Ekaterina and Alexandr got married. These are the photographs of the beautiful wedding in Salou, in Catalonia, with incredible views of the sea and a landscape full of vegetation and rocks that made their day unforgettable.

The bride looked stunning in a romantic dress with a sweetheart lace neckline. The fabric of the skirt allowed the dress to move beautifully. As you can see in these photographs, the lace back of the wedding dress was spectacular. Ekaterina had a bouquet full of colors, with white, yellow, violet and pink flowers that added a touch of color to her look. She wore her hair with light waves and a small but beautiful floral detail.

Alexandr looked very handsome wearing blue pants and a nice blue and white striped shirt.

The spectacular couple will remember this great day thanks to these romantic and original photographs on the beach, with their feet in the water and the rocks that surround this dream landscape. What do you think about this original wedding in Salou?

Wedding in Tenerife – Anita y Alexey

The beautiful wedding in Tenerife of the Russian couple Anita and Alexey could not have been more romantic. The bride and groom love this place and did not hesitate to choose the paradisiacal Ritz-Carlton Abama Hotel to celebrate their great day. From the beginning Anita wanted a wedding full of color, so they decided to celebrate the ceremony with the spectacular views of the sea and surrounded by colours: green, blue, yellow…

Anita wore a beautiful wedding dress with straps and beautiful neckline and back. The fabric was amazing, with transparencies and delicate rhinestones. She chose gorgeous turquoise shoes.

Alexey looked very elegant with black pants and a light blue jacket, very appropriate for a ceremony by the sea.

The flowers were the main decoration for this wedding. Beautiful flowers in white, pink, blue and green decorated the beautiful altar and the ceremony corridor. The flowers were also on the banquet tables and the spectacular cake.

The couple changed for the dance. Alexey wore white pants and black jacket and Anita dazzled with a short dress with sequins.

The place where the ceremony and the banquet of this wedding in Tenerife took place was a complete success. The hotel has a special charm with all the vegetation that surrounds it, so it made this wedding a unique and unforgettable moment.

The importance of choosing the best venue for your wedding

In this venue, we carried out a wonderful project with a bride who wore two marvellous dresses from Rosa Clara, in this exceptional setting.

Wedding in Salamanca – Anton e Irina

Irina and Anton celebrated their lovely wedding in Salamanca, in the monumental Castle Buen Amor, the perfect location where the radiant couple seemed to be in the Middle Ages. The castle, with large halls and beautiful antique furniture, became the perfect venue for this couple.

Irina wore a beautiful strapless dress with a beautiful skirt decorated with flowers. The bride adorned her hair with a small white flower. The white and green bouquet with burgundy flowers was the perfect choice for her look. Anton wore elegant blue trousers and a white shirt.

The wedding invitations were also amazing. They chose white paper with a beautiful green envelope, written with a romantic typography. The lovely ceremony was held in the spectacular courtyard of the castle, surrounded by stone columns. An iron altar and an old carpet with floral details were the main elements of the decoration. In addition, we also decorated the space with medieval style elements: old books, a golden mirror, glass vases, fruits and flowers. Irina and Anton could not have been more excited about their romantic wedding in Salamanca, in this special castle. The photographs say it all!

Wedding in Mallorca – Dmitry y Aurike

Dmitry and Aurike’s wedding took place on a beach on Mallorca island, with a wonderful rocky landscape and the giant sea in the background. We organised the ceremony in a lovely place in the venue, where white chairs and a nice carpet made out of beige raffia were placed. To make it even brighter, we decorated both the altar, table and the chairs with white flowers. The couple sat on a rustic wooden bench.

Aurike was a bride verybut very romantic, with a touch of modernism. Her look combined a spectacular skirt made out of pink tulle, and a white top made out of lace.

She left her hair untied and adorned it with delicate white flowers, we love it! The perfect complement was her bouquet, a composition of white flowers and various shades of pink, with bows made out of lace and satin, also in the same colors.

The tables were decorated in white with glassware with blue touches, to match with the landscape in which the wedding was celebrated. As centerpieces : beautiful cages with candles inside.
